Parish Profile Meeting
To be held on Saturday 21st February at 9.30am to 12.30 in Cilmery Hall.
There is a general reduction in the number of people being ordained, and this has resulted in a shortage of vicars within the Diocese of Brecon and Swansea to take up available posts. Our parishes of Irfon Valley and Blaenau Irfon will soon be joined with the area of Newbridge on Wye (including Llanafan). We hope to advertise for a Vicar for these joint parishes in the near future.
We are therefore holding a public meeting on Saturday 21st February to invite everyone to come and give their views in order to write a Parish Profile which will show any suitable applicants what life is like within our parishes.
We do hope that you will be involved in writing the Profile to help us to attract the right candidate for us. The meeting will be followed by a short Bring and Share Lunch. If possible, we would like people to bring a small plate of food to share. Drinks will be provided.
